Billy Carson interviews Italian aerospace engineer Filippo Biondi, developer of SAR-Doppler tomography technology, about ongoing research into structures beneath the Giza Plateau. Biondi explains that his method uses acoustic signals rather than electromagnetic waves, since sound penetrates dense material such as bedrock and granite while electromagnetic signals cannot, allowing satellites to detect underground vibrations and density differences that computers then render into images of subsurface spaces. Billy connects Biondi's findings to claims he made eight years earlier in his book Compendium of the Emerald Tablets, in which he rendered an image of megalithic columns beneath Giza that he calls the Halls of Amenti, and references a quote from the historian Herodotus describing an underground labyrinth rivaling anything built by the Greeks. Billy credits Biondi's data with providing scientific support for ideas he had previously based only on ancient texts, and the two discuss the importance of recognizing researchers for pioneering work while they are still alive rather than after they have died.
